Wow, I didn't know it was gone, but it isn't surprising since the hey-days of arena concerts has diminished. Naw.. I actually coined the name Depression out here in the great northwest. There's a story involved, not so much funny as I think it was, but I have a different sense of humor. Glad you got out, there's so much more out there than Ohio. I miss the storms though, we had great thunderstorms.
Maddie, I came back for another listen, I will always come back and listen, check for updates, and new tunes, make it easy for me girl and let me know when you have anything new . I really love your 'Honesty' in your work, your approach and your voice. I anticipate nothing but amazing sounds from you in the near future, good luck girl, peace and much love, Jostel Hason ... simply... ..a ...fan...
Ah yes, Richfield.. saw many great bands at the Coliseum, met Yes at the Holiday Inn after the Drama concert. I'm from that area originally, and I can honestly say... "get out while you can!!!" Listened to all the tracks posted here so far, reminded me of me a long time ago (in my guitar days), keep up the good work.
Thanks Maddie, glad you like the tunes... there are a couple of new ones about to come out soon too, doing the finishing touches on them now... you have an awesome voice, and good songwriting. Stay in touch...
wow thank you so much, Maddie for listening to my music and complimenting me. That was a real feel good message. Thanks!! Th elyrics on Such a pretty picture are great!! Your voice is beautiful and you play so well!! xoxo Lony. A pretty picture indeed.
Great songs, I stopped in for the Fuzzpile and I am glad I did. The personal nature of your writing/recording is top notch, at the same time the songs leave room for the listener to apply them to their own experiences. I dig it.
Clif, [cc: Spread The Word Blog and First Fuzzpile Artists]
Before I jump onto the Fuzzpile! myself [which I hereby commit to do so], I just wanted to say that you/Clif are indeed a polymath - a man of action always thinking out of the box and testing hypotheses about how the web works, social connections are made, and iterative content is developed.
The Fuzzpile! is a genius experiment of SocialBuxx™ in action and there will be much to gain from the data generated at the five Fuzzpile Artists' pages, their dashboards, and your Fuzzpile blog.
I already know most of the artists you selected for the first Fuzzpile: The3rdStreetButcher, Maddie Rosene, Tim Allen, and Flitch, and I have the player on for Anthony Rosano's uploads and added him to my list of favs. These artists already are beginning to push out the envelope of the possible and are also web-polymaths conducting their own unique experiments. I will definitely spread the word to my readers as well to check them out and pile on!
[We need to get the fuzz folks to display blog page views as well as blog comments to enhance content generation and search. They are already doing this in part at the local scenes but not on the centralized public pages. Based on the page view-to-replies ratio at the San Francisco Forum, it looks like a 25 page views for every 1 comment is a pretty good rule of thumb for now - but this number should change as fuzz traction and, of course, SocialBuxx™ takes hold. We should keep this mind as we refine our approach to quantifying SocialBuxx™ which should help to create more social capital for fuzz artists and music fans alike. TCC]
Wow, "Honestly" is a great tune. It has a warm, comforting, head moving side to side feel to it. Your voice is beautiful and it flows with your song arrangements very naturally. You "have it" no doubt about it. Clif's fuzzpile works... You need to put a band together. All the best to you...
and tell us what you think
your music is great!!
cheers,
B.
