Bio

My name's Maddie Rosene..I play acoustic giutar. I write and sing all of my own songs. The lyrics are what I'm most proud of. The guitar parts are pretty simple..but I like to think the melodies aren't bad either..

I probably sound most like: sheryl crow, jewel, avril lavigne, michelle branch, 10,000 maniacs, or alanis morissette...however they're not really my influences..i enjoy listening to: Nirvana, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Strokes, Modest Mouse, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, The Shins, Matt Costa, Jack Johnson, and the Gorillaz.

I really want to get signed...

NEW SONGS!

I have three new origial songs posted. They are called "Kick Myself," "Love Me Like You Do," and my favorite, "Such a Pretty Picture." Check 'em out! The recording is still unfortunately not very professional, but hopefully in October I can do some high-tech recording stuff and get that out there! Hope you like the songs... Wow, I didn't know it was gone, but it isn't surprising since the hey-days of arena concerts has diminished. Naw.. I actually coined the name Depression out here in the great northwest. There's a story involved, not so much funny as I think it was, but I have a different sense of humor. Glad you got out, there's so much more out there than Ohio. I miss the storms though, we had great thunderstorms.

Ah yes, Richfield.. saw many great bands at the Coliseum, met Yes at the Holiday Inn after the Drama concert. I'm from that area originally, and I can honestly say... "get out while you can!!!" Listened to all the tracks posted here so far, reminded me of me a long time ago (in my guitar days), keep up the good work.
